Ending the Silence

I created flyers and social media graphics to recruit presenters for NAMI New Jersey’s Ending the Silence presentations. The materials featured diverse young people engaging with their phones and individuals leading presentations, reflecting the program’s focus on youth and education. I followed NAMI’s brand guidelines, incorporating its established fonts and color palette to create cohesive, engaging promotional materials.

Applications: Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop

SAMHAJ Logo

I redesigned the logo for South Asian Mental Health Awareness in Jersey (SAMHAJ), incorporating a blue lotus to symbolize wisdom while creating a clean, distinctive identity that reflects the organization’s mission.

Application: Adobe Illustrator

After discussing the logo with SAMHAJ and conducting research, I created several iterations of logos for them to choose from.

For these designs, I used the blue from the NAMI brand guidelines.

Once SAMHAJ selected their three favorite designs, I developed multiple color variations for each concept based on their requested color schemes, giving them a range of options to evaluate and refine the final identity.

Brochure

With SAMHAJ’s new logo established, I redesigned their informational brochure using NAMI’s brand guidelines and existing NAMI brochures as references, along with copy provided by SAMHAJ. I built the color scheme around the middle blue from the logo’s final palette and used Adobe Color to select a complementary accent color, creating a cohesive visual system that tied the brochure to the new identity.
