Creative Action Network: Illustrated Book Covers
I illustrated book covers for the "Recovering the Classics" project through the Creative Action Network.
All book covers are available for purchase as 12”x18” or 24”x36” prints.
Software: Adobe Illustrator
The Importance of Being Earnest by Oscar Wilde
I designed this cover based on Wilde's whimsical naming of the book. The name Earnest is tattooed on a woman's arm to indicate that the story is about the importance to this woman of a man being named Earnest rather than him possessing the characteristic of earnestness.
Anne of Green Gables by L.M. Montgomery
As a child I was a fan of this story and yearned to have blue puffy sleeves like Anne. I also wanted to show her iconic red hair and silhouettes of items that are important to the story.
