During the 2016-2017 school year, I was the Design Director of the Ebbtide newspaper. In this role, I laid out each issue of the newspaper and made all design decisions, as well as wrote and edited articles.

Flag

I designed the flag used in the Ebbtide newspaper in the 2016-2017 school year. The word mark remained the same throughout the year, but it appeared with several different images inside.

Layout

For each of fifteen issues during the 2016-2017 school year, I laid out all of the photos and stories for the newspaper.

Sections and Ads

The paper had several reoccurring sections, for which I designed logos. I also created in-house ads for the newspaper.

Writing

As the Design Director for the Ebbtide Newspaper, I wrote over 30 articles, 3 of which were featured on the paper's front cover. One of which was part of an award-winning special section.
